Working Principle

Closed cycle spray drying system is working in a closed environment, the drying medium is inert gas, generally N2, suitable for drying materials with organic solvents with toxic gas or drying materials prone to oxidation in the drying process; the system uses inert gas as the circulating gas, which has a protective effect on the dried materials, the circulating gas goes through the process of moisture-carrying and de-wetting, and the medium can be reused: nitrogen gas is heated by the heater and then enters the drying tower. The liquid material is transported to the centrifugal nozzle by the screw pump, the liquid is atomized into liquid droplets by the high speed circulating atomizer, the heat and mass exchange process is completed in the drying tower, the dried powder material is discharged from the bottom of the tower, the evaporated organic solvent gas is evaporated under the pressure of the negative pressure of the fan, the dust caught in the gas is removed by the cyclone separator and spray tower, the saturated organic solvent gas is condensed into liquid by the condenser and discharged to the condenser. The non-condensable gas medium is continuously heated and re-circulated as drying carrier in the system. This is also an obvious difference between the explosion-proof closed type centrifugal spray drying equipment and the ordinary centrifugal spray drying equipment; the drying medium in the drying system is N2, the internal pressure is positive operation, maintaining a certain positive pressure value, if the internal pressure drops, the pressure transmitter will automatically control the amount of N2 input to ensure the system pressure balance. If the internal pressure drops, the pressure transmitter will automatically control the N2 feed to ensure system pressure balance.
