Airflow and Flash Dryer

The flash dryer or airflow dryer is simple to operate and are known for its high on-line availability for continuous production.

The general components of a basic flash drying system are air heaters, feeders, drying towers, dust removal systems, exhaust fans and hot air ducts. The burner system can use a variety of energy sources such as natural gas, propane or oil.

Flash dryers are commonly used for flash calcination of fine, medium to low abrasive, non-metallic, viscous and heat-sensitive materials. The system can also be combined with milling, separation, powder selection and conveying functions for other process applications.
