Product introduction

This product can indirectly heat or cool paste, granule, powder and slurry materials, and can complete unit operations such as drying, cooling, heating, sterilization, reaction and low-temperature combustion. The special stirring heat transfer disc in the equipment has high heat transfer efficiency and self-cleaning function of heat transfer surface.

Working principle

Hollow discs are densely arranged on the hollow shaft, and the hot medium flows through the discs via the hollow shaft. The heat transfer area is large within the unit effective volume, and the temperature of the hot medium is from -40℃ to 320℃, which can be water steam or liquid type: such as hot water, heat-conducting oil, etc. Indirect conduction heating, no carrying air to take away heat, heat are used to heat the material. The heat loss is only the heat dissipation to the environment through the insulation layer of the body. The shell has sealed end cover and upper cover to prevent material dust leakage and give full play to the role.
Heat transfer medium through the rotary joint, flow through the shell jacket and hollow stirring shaft, hollow stirring shaft according to the type of heat medium and has a different internal structure, in order to ensure the best heat transfer effect.

Performance characteristics

Low energy consumption of disc dryer: due to indirect heating, there is no large amount of carrying air to take away heat, and the outer wall of the dryer is set up with insulation layer, for slurry materials, evaporation of 1kg of water only requires 1.2kg of water steam.
Low cost of the disc dryer system: the unit effective volume has a huge heat transfer surface, it shortens the processing time and the equipment size becomes smaller. This greatly reduces the construction area and building space.
Wide range of processing materials: using different thermal media, both heat-sensitive materials and materials requiring high-temperature processing can be processed.
Commonly used media are: water steam, heat-conducting oil, hot water, cooling water, etc. Both continuous and intermittent operation is available, which can be applied in many fields. Environmental pollution is small: do not use carry air, dust material entrainment rarely. Material solvent evaporation is very small, easy to handle. For contaminated materials or the need to recover the solvent, closed-circuit circulation can be used.
Low operation cost: compact structure, good wear resistance, low maintenance cost.
Stable operation: Due to the role of hollow disc, the material particles are fully in contact with the heat transfer surface, and the gradient of temperature, humidity and mixing degree of the material is very small in the axial interval, thus ensuring the stability of the process.

Applicable materials

The disc dryer has been successfully used in food, chemical, petrochemical, dye, industrial sludge and other fields. The characteristics of heat transfer, cooling and stirring of the equipment make it possible to complete the following unit operations: combustion (low temperature), cooling, drying (solvent recovery) heating (melting), reaction and sterilization. The hollow disc is also the heat transfer surface, which increases the heat transfer area per unit effective volume and shortens the processing time. Compression - expansion stirring function makes the material mix uniformly. Materials along the axial direction into the "piston flow" movement, in the axial interval, the material temperature, humidity, mixing degree gradient is very small. Using heat-conducting oil as thermal medium disc dryer can complete the low temperature combustion work. For example, calcium sulfate dihydrate (Ca2SO4-2H2O) is converted into calcium sulfate hemihydrate (Ca2SO4-1/22H2O) by combustion. Sodium bicarbonate (NaHCO3) is converted into soda ash (Na2HCO3) by calcination, etc. Passing into the cooling medium, such as water, cooling brine, etc. can be used to cool. For example: the disc type cooling machine used in soda ash industry, replacing the old air-cooled cooling machine, saving energy and tail gas treatment equipment, reducing operating costs.
